Almost die from mental breakdown...

wahaha.. i think it sounds too serious ba.. hehe... well, my 2 weeks term break is over and now i back to school... i don quite enjoy my holidays except maybe the last few days.. hehe.. well.. i was working at a hotel as a banquet don know wat... so tired sia.. not only serve food and drinks but had to move tables and chairs etc... even stage.. Oh my god... i didnt ask to work as a labour lei.. so i sort of quit ba.. then my pc was like having 'period' sia.. sometimes good.. then dead.. then alive again.. its the graphic card lar.. only to realise in the end that the card is loose so have to unplug and plug it in again...

the fun really starts near the end of the holidays when i meet my classmates and my Colours of Life friends... My classmates and i went to stayed at a Changi HDB chalet on Fri till next day.. Programs ma.. hehe.. Went to Pulau Ubin... cycled... (but i didnt go, cos need to wait for other people) Chit chat lar.. tour at Old Changi Hospital and went to the carpark opposite to see the 'famous' sight.. the "girls" in inverted commas hor... i didnt really went to the hospital lar.. cos i think i can see them.. so better avoid crossing paths with them at all costs.. then the "girls".. they are really pretty lor.. tall and slender.. if they enter Miss Universe.. they sure can one.. but too bad they are actually guys... guess Singapore is still a bit conversative about this issue...

I didnt really sleep throughtout the night... cos the room i was in.. there was 'debates' going on.. hehe.. i guess they all had a great talk.. and know each other better.. and glad our french classmate enjoy himself.. hehe.. well.. hope to organise again.. and maybe this time... no more waiting.. hehe...

went home in the morning on Sat.. at evening.. continue my next program.. went to meet my COL friends for a karaoke session.. hehe.. sing sing sing... althought the place is a bit deserted but they do have some nice songs there... hehe..

Well, we are having 2 weeks term break now... finally... cos we were like struggling with the projects and other stuff and its really hectic.. man.. phew.. the holidays is just nice.. but then.. eeeeekk.. we didnt really get to enjoy in peace... we got some more projects on hand and some of them are to be submitted when the holidays is over... argghh... OMG.. what did i get myself into.. lolx..

hmm.. my ex classmates cum current school mates now will be 'changing' to a new dept but its still under TEP lar.. hope all the best to them.. Andrea, Christina, Meixuan and Yuying.. My new found friend Iliyas aka Liliang will be doing catwalk at Bugis tomorrow.. jia you ah, ah liang.. and Romeo... hope he is getting better emotionally ba.. cos i think he is thinking a lot of things..

By the way, i quitted 2 CCAs in my first year and this time i joined another 2 new CCAs.. hehe.. must try a lot of things ma.. hehe.. somehow i think these 2 CCAs will help me 'achieve' a monk life.. wahaha... And also i got a myself a job.. finally.. hehe... its been so long since i worked.. this time i not alone.. i working with my friends.. quite tired lar... actually its very very tired.. hehe.

its just not fair... whatever...

seriously i don noe why i come here to blog today .. its just that.. i feel... some people are just simply going overboard... they just do not know the limit... and they are obviously testing my patience.. and mind you... although i have learn to control my temper but that does not mean i have no temper.. quote:"low crime does'nt mean no crime".. hehe... anyway.. thats all.. cos i just don noe how to put them in words.. haha.. (before Andrea says i writing essay again, right hor, Andrea.. lolx)

time really flies.. man.. bother...

sigh... my mom was wrapping and cooking the dumpling for the whole day.. actually its wrapped for about 4 hours but cooked for about one whole day... then plus cleaning etc.. loads of work sia..

And then just now... a group of people came to my house.. in the evening which is just now... well.. when i was a kid.. my mom took the role as a nanny and looked after other kids beside her 3 kids.. imagine that lor.. so lively.. and noisy.. haha... there is this kid which we all feel very attach too.. his name is Benjamin... My mom looked after him when he was a baby... until we left Ang Mo Kio (our old place.. and i miss there a lot..).. And when he was a few years old, my mom also looked after his kid brother (Weixian) since he was borned... Both of them ma.. are so cute .. and lively... just look at the photos we took really brings back memories sia.. haha... so just now they came lor.. my my my.. both grew up into fine young boys liao... means wat.. me old liao... Ahhhhhh.... actually just now i wanna took a photo of them but my handphone no batt liao.... darn.. bad timing.. never mind.. i will wait for another time...

(ps: we went for a wedding few days ago in a taxi.. and i realised that my dad's hand has grow wrinkled and dark due to exposure to sun daily.. my parents.. they have took so long to nature us and i haven got the chance to repay them yet.. and still make them worry over the three of us.. guess that is the mentality of the parents ba.. how about you? have you sit down with your parents and chat with them?

DragonBoat Festival

I should be going to UAN there today at 5pm and watch the performance put up by my friend, Romeo.. cos they put up a performance as part of the orientation.. Then i fly him kite again.. its the second time liao...

sorry Romeo.. really sorry.. i cant help it.. cos the Dragon Boat Festival is around the corner.. and my mom will be wrapping dumplings aka Zhong Zi tomorrow like she always do.. She will also wrap for her sisters, her parents-in-law etc... so this time round.. she bought a lot of ingredients to wrap many many dumplings.. then i think i got people coming to my place tomorrow... so i decide to stay back last minute to help her tidy up some household chores and help her do some frying...

For those who wants to know.. my mom stir fried diced mushrooms, dry shrimps and diced pork separately and then stir fried them again together with wu xiang powder, black soya sauce, pepper, osyter sauce... this is the fillings only.. the glutinous rice has to be soaked overnight and then stir fry again to about half cooked before wrapping... all the ingredients are stir fried with chopped garlic and chopped small onions too... in addition the leaves used for wrapping has to be washed clean... and soaked overnight too..

and this is not all... what i say above is only the middle part.. the first part is to chop lar, diced lar, sliced lar.. then the fouth part is to wrap them.. and the last part is to cook them in boiling water... and to make it cook well also need skills... the timing, water control etc...

The final product will be the dumpling with its fragant fillings.. and the taste of the fillings does not clash with one another, neither does it clash with the rice... and the rice will be just nice.. not hard but soft, sticky and fragant too... in all, all the rice and the fillings hold well together and does not break up easily....

It really takes years of experience sia...

I have apples in my fridge.. but i ate the last one.... i have oranges in my fridge.. and still got some more... i got durian in my fridge.. but i finished the last box... i got jackfuit in my fridge.. and i finished it too.. i got lychees in my fridge.. and i haven touch it... haha..

yes yes yes.. i have the best meal again.. its not expensive.. its not big... and neither is it rare... Its the fresh sliced fish soup.. ooh la la.. I have it as my dinner for many times, and i didnt realise until today... the sliced fish are fresh.. but what makes me tempted is the soup... its so rich.. the colour.. is like shinning and glimmering... the taste is rich too.. the fish, the ginger, the seasoning and the milk and other ingredient blend in nicely giving off a rich taste and a sweet aroma... and the secret.. is they add a bit of XO in it... its like making the ingredients half drunk and they are dancing in the soup... hehe.. nice expression, right? hehe...
