Fundraising Hike on 30 July 06 by iGAP...

Dear Friends,

Ever went on a natural trail hike from MacRitchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Natural Reserve? Not possible, you say??? Let the fund raising team of iGAP show you how.

On 30 July, iGAP is organising a hike from MacRitchie Reservoir to Bukit Timah Natural Reserve to raise funds for their upcoming projects (see below for a synopsis of iGAP).

Along the way, you can enjoy the nature (trees, monkeys, squirrels and tortoises included), beautiful scenery and see things tucked in the forest which you would never imagine.

iGAP (inter-Generational Affinity Project) is made up of a group of volunteers who are dedicated to bridging the gap between the elderly and the youth through meaningful interaction. We are a non-profit, non-governmental organisation under the flagship of SIF (Singapore International Foundation).

Goals for 2006
1) To promote interaction and understanding between the elderly and youth participants.
2) To promote volunteerism among youths.
